The magnetic drive pump (referred to as the magnetic drive pump) is the same as the canned pump that belongs to the pump without shaft seal structure. It has only static seal but no dynamic seal in structure, and it can guarantee that there is no leakage when it is used to transport liquid.
The 6 components of a magnetic pump:
The magnetic pump is composed of pump body, impeller, inner magnetic steel, outer magnetic steel, spacer sleeve, pump inner shaft, pump outer shaft, sliding bearing, rolling bearing, coupling, motor, base, etc. (for some small magnetic pumps, the outer The magnetic steel is directly connected with the motor shaft, eliminating the need for pump outer shafts, rolling bearings, couplings and other components).
1) Plain bearings
The pump inner shaft of the magnetic pump is supported by sliding bearings. Since the sliding bearing is lubricated by the transmission medium with poor lubricity, the sliding bearing should be made of materials with good wear resistance and self-lubrication. Commonly used bearing materials are silicon carbide ceramics,
Graphite, filled PTFE, etc.
2) Motor
The motor is the same as the sealed pump, using standard motors, such as domestic Y series three-phase asynchronous motors, YB series flameproof motors, etc.
3) Coupling
The coupling is the same as the sealed pump, using a flexible coupling.
1. The pump body and impeller are similar to the sealed pump.
2. Magnetic coupling
The magnetic coupling is composed of inner magnetic steel (including guide ring and sleeve), outer magnetic steel (including guide ring) and spacer sleeve, and is the core component of the magnetic pump. The structure of the magnetic coupling, the design of the magnetic circuit, and the materials of its components are related to the reliability of the magnetic pump, the efficiency and life of the magnetic transmission.
4) Inner magnetic steel
The inner magnetic steel and the guide ring are connected by adhesive. In order to isolate the inner magnetic steel from the medium, the outer surface of the inner magnetic steel needs to be covered with a sheath. There are two kinds of sheaths: metal and plastic. The metal sheath is welded, and the plastic sheath is injection molded.
5) External magnetic steel
The outer magnetic steel and the guide ring are connected by adhesive.
6) Isolation sleeve
The isolation sleeve is also called the sealing sleeve, which is located between the inner and outer magnets, completely separates the inner and outer magnets, and the medium is sealed in the isolation sleeve. The thickness of the spacer is related to the working pressure and temperature. If it is too thick, it will increase the gap size between the inner and outer magnets, thereby affecting the efficiency of magnetic transmission; if it is too thin, it will affect the strength. There are two types of spacer sleeves, metal and non-metallic. The metal spacer has eddy current loss, and the non-metallic spacer has no eddy current loss.
Principles to be followed in the selection of magnetic pumps
1) The selection steps are based on the current domestic production of magnetic pumps and the development of magnetic materials and sliding bearings. In order to ensure the quality of the project, the following steps can be referred to when selecting magnetic pumps.
a. When the shaft power of the pump is greater than 10KW or the temperature of the medium is higher than 100 ℃, it should be carefully handled when selecting a domestic magnetic pump. The material of the magnetic steel and the structure of the bearing material should be limited. If necessary, a canned pump should be selected.
b. For pumps with a power less than 10KW, the selection of magnetic pumps can ensure the use effect.
